West End at War Event
We were delighted to be a part of the "West End at War"
event in Leicester square (London) held over the weekend of 12/13
June 2004. There were many events re-creating the war time scenes
of London and reflecting on people's lives at the time.

We were displaying 3 maquettes (models) of part of the monument.
These created a lot of interest with many visitors. We also sold
a number of pictures - at least two to visitors from Los Angeles
USA. Monument badges were also popular.

We raised over £400 towards the monument fund. Many
thanks to the volunteers from the Battle of Britain Historical
Society who manned the event all weekend.
