Celebratory Poster

From the earliest days of the project the committee wished to have a poster to celebrate the monument. The desire was to have a design that would become an icon in its own right.

We were very fortunate that the ideal person, airbrush artist Philip Castle, volunteered for the task and donated huge amounts of his own time to the project. His previous work includes the 'Clockwork Orange' film poster and Paul McCartney's Wings tour posters amongst much else.

The poster will be distributed to aviation museums and other suitable venues and is available to individuals in both A2 and A3 versions. They can be ordered from;
