The Airmen's Stories - Sgt. R Pearce

 

Roy Pearce joined the RAFVR about June 1939 as an Airman u/t WOp/AG. Called up on 1st September 1939, he completed his training and had joined 29 Squadron at Digby by June 1940.


He was still serving with 29 Squadron on 8th December 1940 but was non-operational. He was commissioned in January 1943.

His subsequent service is currently undocumented until his release from the RAF in 1946 as a Flight Lieutenant.

Pearce died on 26th October 2012.
