The Airmen's Stories - Sgt. A E Owen

Arthur Ernest Owen, of Birmingham, joined 600 Squadron Auxiliary Air Force on 26th November 1936 as an Aircrafthand. He was called up on 24th August 1939.

It would appear that he did a radar course in 1940 and rejoined 600 Squadron.

He served with the squadron until 17th September 1942 with only one very short break.

No further service details have been traced. Owen was discharged to the Class ‘A’ Reserve on 12th December 1945.
