The Airmen's Stories - P/O P J Morgan
Peter Jaques Morgan was born on 9th November 1919 and entered the Royal Military College, Sandhurst as a Gentleman Cadet.
After graduating he received a Regular Army commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd The King's Own Hussars. He was seconded to the RAF on 7th March 1940 and granted at temporary commission.
After completing his training Morgan joined 79 Squadron at Pembrey on 17th September and moved to 238 Squadron at Chilbolton on 5th October.

His subsequent service is currently undocumented until 1946 when Morgan was released from the RAF as a Flight Lieutenant.
He is recorded as joining the reconstituted RAFVR as a Flying Officer on 27th July 1951. He is believed to have later flown as an airline pilot.
Morgan died on 9th June 1977 in Moreton, Oxfordshire.
