The Airmen's Stories - Sgt. E E Miles

Ernest Edwin Miles was born on 8th May 1914 in Southampton and joined the RAFVR in April 1939 as an Airman u/t WOp/AG, he was working in drapery sales at the time.

Called up on 1st September 1939, he completed his training and joined 236 Squadron at St. Eval on 26th September 1940.

He flew six operational sorties in October, the first one on the 1st.

His subsequent service is currently undocumented.

Miles died on 3rd April 1977 in Southampton.
