The Airmen's Stories - P/O A G Little

 

Arthur Guthrie Little was born on 18 May 1910 and employed as a Stockbrokers Clerk in Wandsworth when he joined the RAFVR in March 1940 with a direct-entry commission as an Air Gunner.

He completed his training and joined 235 Squadron at Bircham Newton in May 1940.

He was on No. 8 Gunnery Leaders Course at CGS Warmwell from 16th July to 9th August 1940.

He rejoined 235 on the 13th and served with it during the rest of the Battle of Britain period.

His subsequent service is currently undocumented until he was released from the RAF in 1945 as a Flight Lieutenant.

Little died in June 1986 in London.
