The Airmen's Stories - Sgt. P W Broom

 

Philip William Broom joined the RAF as an Aircrafthand in June 1938 and later volunteered for aircrew training.

He was serving with 25 Squadron at North Weald by 25th May 1940.

 

 

His subsequent service is currently undocumented until he was promoted to Warrant Officer on 1st March 1942, commissioned in December 1942 and released from the RAF in 1949 as a Flight Lieutenant.

At some time he served with 488 (NZ) Squadron.
