The Airmen's Stories - Sgt. A Siudak
Born on 1st April 1909 in Poland, Antoni Siudak must have served in the Polish Air Force but the details are not known, he was one of many airmen that made their way to England after the German invasion.
He joined 302 Squadron at Leconfield on 23rd July 1940. He shared in the destruction of a Do17 on 15th September.

Siudak was posted to 303 Squadron at Northolt on 23rd September. He claimed two Me109's destroyed and a Me110 shared on 5th October.
The next day a lone raider struck at
Northolt just after midday and Siudak was killed as he taxied his Hurricane, P3120, the aircraft suffering a direct hit.
He is buried in Northwood Cemetery, Middlesex and is remembered on the Polish Air Force Memorial at Northolt.
Siudak was awarded the VM (5th
Class, gazetted 1st February 1941).
