The Airmen's Stories - Sub/Lt. (FAA) N H Patterson

 

Norris Henry Patterson was serving with 804 Squadron at Hatston in early July 1940, flying Sea Gladiators on dockyard defence. He later transferred to 802 Squadron, then forming for HMS Audacity.

He was killed on 22nd December 1941 when the carrier was sunk and is remembered on the Fleet Air Arm Memorial at Lee-on-Solent.
