The Airmen's Stories - P/O A R Narucki

Aleksander Ryszard Narucki was born on 1st January 1916 in Poland. He arrived in England from France on 16th July 1940 and after converting to Hurricanes joined 607 Squadron at Turnhouse on 9th October.

Narucki was posted to 302 Squadron at Northolt on 7th November 1940. He was killed on 11th May 1941 after abandoning Hurricane WX-B Z3435 which had been damaged by a Me109 during a training flight. The exact circumstances are unknown but he did not survive the bailout.

He is buried in Northwood Cemetery and commemorated on the Polish War Memorial at Northolt.
