This website provides information about the Battle, the airmen who took part, the location and design of the Monument and the history of the whole project.

March 2008 - This site has been chosen by the British Library for inclusion in its archive programme.This ensures that sites holding research material that reflects national culture and events of historical importance will remain available to researchers in the future.

Souvenir DVD:
The entire planning, fund-raising, sculpting, construction and unveiling process was recorded and is available on a 1hr 40min DVD. There are extensive interviews with the sculptor Paul Day at various stages of the project.
